DEFINITION OF MOTIVATION
When we look at the word motivation, it is a derivation of the word motive, which means a reason for doing something. motivating is the word used to set goals in life, and to do whatsoever necessary actions to achieve our goals. We are also motivated if we liking something that we know it will benefit for ones-self. For example when a psyche wants to buy a house, this person would be motivated to bring through money for the house which is his goal or if a learners ambition is to qualify as a regenerate he would have to go through the necessary actions to nonplus his goal therefore he or she would attends college to be a doctor.
Motivation is not always about personal goals, we pot be motivated to get up in the dayspring to go to work or college because we expert like existence at work and enjoy the tasks assigned to us, or by chance we might have a keen interest in a particular subject at school.
Maslows conjecture on motivation has five levels from physiological motifs to self-actualization.
* physiological needs are where Maslow explained that we all need water; send to breath, clothing and food all these are needed just for our everyday existence.
* Safety needs is where we need security at bottom our daily lives. Our needs of shelter, a secure job, a imperishable relationship.



A person in a job with no ambitions to further his career would have his safety needs met. He would have everything already needed so that he could survive.
* affectionate needs. This is where we all need interaction with other people; we need the sense of belonging in a group, with our friends, family even at work and school.
* Esteem needs is the fourth levels of Maslows gain it is the need for respect and appreciation and to feel valued by others.
* Self-Actualization is a term used for self-fulfilment, where we want to achieve our ingest goals in life. Examples our career andto become everything that the person is capable of becoming.
