This site offers copyrighted sources of information to the users. The United States Army Human Resources Command (HRC) is directly responsible for managing and governing the spell promotion system. One of the references is HRCs regulation that governs the enlistment promotion system, which is AR 600-8-19. The final source came from about.com.
About.com is not considered an official donnish website, but the article that was used for a reference was compose by an author that possesses a vast amount of knowledge and experience in the Army promotion system. About.coms perpetration statement was read to determine their purpose and affiliations. The authors biography was also read to establish his credibility by experience. The author was deemed credible because he is currently a retired front Sergeant with over 22 years of military experience, and his duties were related to personnel administration.
