Two-hundred (200) adults from the Vocational Technical Adult Basic Education Center in Southeast Mississippi were selected to participate in this empirical study. The Test of Adult Basic Education was employ to collect the data. The instrument was judged to have good content validity. inseparable consistency reliability coefficients ranging from.88 to.91 and.87 to.92 were computed on both the math and drill sections of the TABE D and M, or Forms 5 and 6, respectively.
