In the short essay salvation, Langston Hughes reminisces on a past childhood experience that has inflicted with his belief in saviour. After the revival at his Aunt Reeds church, all the young children were going to allow saviour to interpose their lives and digest their sins forgiven. Concluding the ministers preach, most byword deliveryman enter their lives; except Westley and Langston. Westley was tired of waiting for Jesus to appear, so he just pretended like he saw Jesus. Langston was the only child left kneeling at the bench and with his aunt at this side crying in despair, Langston also pretended like he saw Jesus. ulterior that night, Langston laid in bed crying himself to sleep cunning that he lied to himself and to his Aunt about seeing Jesus. And from having that prominent and pressuring experience, he will never accept in Jesus.



The drumhead that is on my mind is, do most children see Jesus enter their soul, or argon most public pressd into thinking Jesus has entered? I believe that most kids truly do not see Jesus enter their soul but they are pressured by the family into believing that he does. When you are young and have to go through a life changing experience, pressure does not always help and can put a lot of anxiety on oneself.
